Ledger book kept by Thomas Vigor, butcher, 184 King Street, Melbourne, February-December 1887; also ledger book of C. Fleischer, butcher, of Service Street, Bairnsdale, Victoria, 1929-1933. The Vigor ledger contains lists of orders for particular customers on a day to day basis, prices charged, and monies paid. It also contains lists of stock on hand from August 1888 - May 1889. The Fleischer ledger is an account book rather than an order book.
